OH MAH GAWD SICK

wow this is sick, i remember you saying you wanted to make better drums.. honestly the drum rhythm you made here are fucking sick! The chorus reminds me a little bit of batman for some reason. Lots of emotion in this man, it also makes me picture a image.. kind of like the image from the crappy new king kong movie, the noise aroind 1:58 reminds me of some kind supernova or something from the transformers haha and 2:28 you go through some journey through some kind of tunnel while seeing all extrodanary things around it and at 3:00 it makes me imagine coming out of the tunnel and then shooting up into the sky to see some kind of new world. i dunno man im really high and thats what i saw lolol

anyways sick fucking piece right here, in loving alot of your classical/movie

Hey xKore, very impressive song!

As always your drums are very well mastered and just plain great. I really liked some of the house elements mixed in with the trance! This song is top in originality compared to most of the trance songs on the portal. I really liked the soft elements around 2:47, it almost gave me a nice chill ambient feeling untill the drums started kicking in the with the electro bass synth. The bass after wards was very good, and reminds me a little bit of that electro song in GTAIV, on the electro channel :D. To tell you the truth, i wasn't so trance into this song but I really enjoyed listening to it. I guess the more progressive/epic trance is what I'm really into. For example [Rollerball - Albinoni (Above & Beyond Opera Mix)] (thanks karco.) Of course everyone has their different tastes and opinions. lolool back to the song, I really liked it. Especially with the nice ambient melodys and synths around 2:20. Have you heard the alice in wonderland song on youtube remix? The ambient parts reminded me a little o that song. Anyways the song is sublime!

Hey this was a nice little song :D! First off i really have to say that the instruments in here are soo.... well from your description you already know. Your using a program right? Well with that given i have some suggestions for some life like sounding instruments. First off you can buy the east west orchestra packs or you can check out this this ( the one i use) EDIROL. It has everything you need for a song in there but there isn't too much variety in the instruments which sucks and for some reason it never saves my instruments when i close my program, i use Fruity Loops Studio 8 XXL by the way. Maybe it doesn't work too well with FL studio.. anyways i liked this song... I don't think it's fit to be a loop because of the silence in the ending and the way all the instruments finish up.
Alright now onto the song...
I'm not sure of the feeling your going for.. although the melody sounds a bit cheesy to me but that's probably because of your sucky instruments ><. I think the horn really killed it for me, and the piano was alright although there are better sounding ones. Sorry if this review seems a little biased but i usually like classical/orchestral songs to express a certain feeling, and the film scorey ones almost always touch my classical music g-spot. Anyways i thought this song was nice... :)

Thanks much :D Wish more people would write reviews like this :P But yeah, this is not my favorite piece, just thought I'd start posting things :) I think you may like my next one more, it has more of a story woven into it (I hope at least). I'm using Garritan sounds, the horns aren't the best I don't think, but at the moment I can't afford to buy any other program.

As soon as I heard...

I thought this was going to get 9+, but some of the piano notes and that weird instrument thats come in around the first 10 seconds also is really awkward. I REALLY loved the percussion, it sounded bad ass with this with that awesome gritty bass. the piano does really accomodate the other instruments ><, trying browsing some synths for something more darker, something that could almost go in a GOA trance song. OVerall i thought it was ok!

I can see where the piano may not be a fit... I like it but I suppose it is a matter of opinion.
This is the first song I made where I used a lot of VSTs, and I'm still searching for a lot of synths, if you have any to suggest let me know!

Amazing..

This is honestly one of the best peices of music in the 21st century. This song puts nothing but joy and emotion into my heart and I am automatically pulled in. Life would be so exceptionally better with your music spread across the landmasses, for the starving children in africa will have something to tap their feet to, the Russians to trepak to, and for every man's musical pleasures. Possibly all world concerns can be solved with the epicness of this song in all it's glory. Thank you sir, there is indeed a God watching over us.

WOW!

The intro was really cool and catchy. It brought me right in. I think you used a gate for your lead which i thought was a great idea. I loved the counter melody plucked arp sounded very trancey. The bass was okay, nothing too specia but nonetheless good and it didn't take anything away from the song. Around 1:40 the break was pefect timing. I have to say that the structure of the song is very professional. At 2:30 is my favorite part of this song, i love the way you introduced it. It had so much energy and was rising all the way up to 3:04. The gate that you made is really awesome. Great job man you have a really nice quality trance song here. I think if you worked on it and touched upp on it some more that this could get labeled.. The only thing i wasn't digging was the ending, in my opinion it was too sudden but i could probably see that this song was tiring to make.. This is honestly one of the better tracks on NG, I have to say i really love the melodys here..

What Vsts and plugins did you use to make this and what program did you use?

Are you going to finish this? Because shit man if you don't I'll cry.

This song didn't remind me as much of basshunter, but i do agree that it lacks efffects, mastering, and your own original sounds, but hey who doesn't use presets? If you put more effects in it would probably have been more original but there's always time to add that. I do agree that the song has terrible choice in presets, the bass just sounds terrible and it sounds like every other bass in every other dance/ hands up songs, especially Basshunter, nostalgic huh? Honestly the Basshunter style is so generic that i feel its almost inpossible to make it sound original, but kudos to you on the decent melody even if it does have some Basshunter influence.

Overall I think this is better than most of your stuff but very very repetitive in my opinion and the repeating bass just sucks balls.

I don't know how many times i have to tell you this, Basshunter is not an influence of mine. The authors comments says i tried to give it a Dj Splash feel.

This is definitely not my best work, i dont know what songs of mine you've been listening to but this is pretty bad. But i didnt realize it after it got top 5.

Great song!

The first thing i really liked about your song was the bass and the drums, the subby kicks and low bass sounded great. The pad breakdown to the pluck breakdown was very nice transition, but the anti climax is really big teaser for me but just in my opinion it was not needed but it still gave a nice touch to the song. When the melody came back in it was really nice and fun to listen to. I really loved the sidechaining in this song but maybe a bit less would make it sound more dreamy/trancey. I really liked the structure and melody of the song alot, and i really think the sidechain was a huge role into making it sound great, but of course everything else was nice too, and the way you ended the song was perfect, nothing sudden or awkward.
